For those who are still not sure about the popularity of Twitter and Social Networking. As of Yesterday over 300 million tweets were sent during the World Cup Group Stage, double the 150 million sent during the 2012 Summer Olympics. Facebook reports there are 220 million World cup posts with over 1 billion likes. Undoubtedly, interest in the World Cup is there. Time to ask yourself if you are positioning yourself amongst this interest?
