The Daily Beast did a great article on some new “smart gun” technology.  This technology prevents guns from being fired by anyone other than the owner. Naturally gun advocates are against this technology and for some pretty good reasons.

The article brings up that in 2002 New Jersey enacted a law that all guns sold must have some sort of smart technology.  This law is mostly ignored but some groups are pushing for it’s enforcement.
