The new Casino Pawn and Gold in Casa Grande is the chain store’s first move south of the Valley. “It’s time to spread the business,” store Manager Isabeau Rivera said. “We have 10 locations in Phoenix and it’s definitely time to head a bit more down south with our customer service.”
The shop’s name, Rivera said, was CEO Alfonso Larriva’s nod to Ak-Chin’s nearby casino and his way of making the shop name stand out. “It definitely brings people in,” Rivera said. The shop’s focus is mainly on buying and selling gold and silver jewelry and scrap metal, but it also pawns items and offer auto title loans. Currently, the shop cannot accept weapons.
