A husband-to-be turned detective and tracked his fiancé’s stolen wedding ring to an Aberdeen pawn shop.
Lindsey Cooper, 36, was heartbroken when her custom-made white gold band was taken during a break-in.
But fiancé, Matt Duthie, 34, whose palladium ring was stolen, tracked the rings down to an Aberdeen pawnbroker.
Ms Cooper said: “It just broke my heart to see that they had been lifted from our table like that.
