KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) — A Hamblen County pawn shop owner has been arrested for fraud after authorities say he was illegally reselling cars brought in for pawn while owners continued to make payments on them.

James Floyd Drinnon, 61, owned Money Man Pawn on Buffalo Trail in Morristown. The Hamblen County sheriff’s office says Drinnon was not reporting pawn transactions to local authorities. The sheriff’s office says Drinnon was also selling vehicles brought in for pawn while customers who pawned them still made payments on them.
