MISSOULA – Police are looking into the theft of several firearms that were taken from a Missoula pawn shop late last week.
Authorities say that rifles, shotguns, and handguns were stolen from the shop in the 100 block of West Alder Street sometime between 7 p.m. on Thursday and 9 a.m. on Friday.
Missoula police spokesperson Travis Welsh says someone got into the building by breaking glass, and it’s not clear yet there’s more than one suspect involved in the incident. The owner of the pawn shop says a rock was used to smash out the safety glass front door window to gain access to the store.
