An 88-year-old woman reported that on May 6 or 7 her sapphire and diamond ring, worth $3,000, was stolen from her home in Sarasota. A search revealed that Alice Tibbetts, who cared for the woman’s husband, sold both the ring and a gold bracelet at Money Pro Pawn Brokers pawn shop on May 9, according to a news release.
